Capture the Crown
This is the first album of Capture the Crown, and it is by far my favorite out the three albums they have produced. The first time I ever listened to this band was at an Of Mice & Men show, and I thought their performance was pretty good, so I decided to give them a listen after the show. It took me a while to get used to the style of the vocalist, but when I got used to them, I absolutely fell in love with this band.
Their vocalist, Jeffrey Wellfare, has a unique voice. A kind of voice that sounds like someone has been smoking 10 packs a day since they were 14. However, with that sound on top of screaming and growling, it actually works well, and it's my favorite aspect of this album. On top of the lyrics, the instrumentals worked well with the songs and were amazing. There isn't a single negative thing I could say about this album.
