Of Mice & Men
Honestly, I was really disappointed with this album the first time I listened to it. This album is so different compared to the band's past works, too different. However, after giving it a listen several times, it started to grow on me. In this album, in my opinion, it's like Austin Carlile and Aaron Pauley have switched positions in the band. Austin is now rarely in any of the songs throughout the album. It's a new technique the band is trying within this new album and I kind of like it. I also like the lyrics throughout this album. They're different compared to their previous songs, but still show that compelling force in emotion with them. I'd still say, given the dramatic change in the band's style, that this album is still pretty amazing. I'd definitely go and give it a listen if you haven't already.
